As a registered nurse with a commitment to preventative medicine and with a deep, spiritual connection with nature, the practice of Forest Bathing (Forest Therapy) is an ideal model to enhance connections, wellness and healing for people and for nature.

 There is a timelessness in nature inviting us to pause, refresh our spirits and receive the gifts from nature. During these challenging times, I encourage everyone to go outside as much as possible, even if just for a minute or two to breathe the air, notice the day. Being in nature and opening ourselves, through our senses, to light and shadow, wind or stillness, can center and ground us.

In these uncertain times, let us connect with the beauty and resiliency in our world.
